2022 AGSHARKS PITCH COMPETITION FINALIST

En Solución is excited to be named one of three finalists in the 2002 AgShark Pitch Competition. We will be pitching our tech in front of an audience of more than 300 fresh produce farmers and industry leaders during the WG Annual Meeting in Las Vegas on Nov. 2-5, 2022 to win a $250,000 minimum investment. 2022 WESTERN GROWERS ASSOCIATION AGTECHX FOOD SAFETY COHORT

En Solución is excited to participate in the AgTechX Food Safety Cohort, a global group of innovators specializing in prevention technologies and rapid diagnostics who will receive exclusive resources to help them launch and scale their projects. En Solución’s membership in this cohort includes attendance at the inaugural AgTechX Food Safety event hosted by the Western Growers Center for Innovation & Technology, the Center for Produce Safety and the Yuma Center of Excellence for Desert Agriculture. The AgTechX Food Safety Yuma event, which featured panels on industry issues, regulatory views and food safety innovation, kicked off a yearlong initiative aimed at food safety technology acceleration to improve the toolkit of rapid diagnostics and prevention technologies. The next two events in the series are planned for later this year in Woodland, CA and King City, CA.

2021 USDA FOOD LOSS AND WASTE INNOVATION VIRTUAL FAIR PRESENTER

En Solución will be a featured presenter in the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) first-ever Food Loss and Waste Innovation Fair on May 26 (12 - 4 p.m. ET). The Innovation Fair will showcase USDA investments and business leadership in reducing food loss and waste throughout the food system. The Innovation Fair will present businesses and research teams that have received USDA funding to research or commercialize cutting-edge food loss and waste solutions. Additionally, several USDA agencies – such as the Agricultural Research Service and the Food Safety and Inspection Service – will discuss their food loss and waste activities in research, measurement, education, funding, and outreach. This free, virtual event will feature virtual booths where visitors can learn about state-of-the-art solutions from business, government, and academic innovators.

En Solución has been awarded $650k from the USDA through the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) program to apply our innovative work with ozone nanobubbles to the apple and tree fruit industry. The SBIR program is a highly competitive program that encourages domestic small businesses to engage in Federal Research/Research and Development (R/R&D) that has the potential for commercialization. Through a competitive awards-based program, SBIR enables small businesses to explore their technological potential and provides the incentive to profit from its commercialization. 2020 CREATIVE DESTRUCTION LAB AG-STREAM COHORT

En Solución is excited to be selected to participate in the Ag Stream of the Creative Destruction Lab Rockies (CDL-Rockies) at the Haskayne School of Business. CDL is a nonprofit organization that delivers an objectives-based program for massively scalable, seed-stage, science- and technology-based companies. WINNER: 2019 IFTNEXT FUTURE FOOD DISRUPTOR OF THE YEAR

The IFTNEXTFood Disruption Challenge is a competition designed to help emerging and investment-ready food companies advance the science of food and recognize the innovations having a positive impact on our global food supply. Finalists were chosen to share their innovations in a high-profile pitch competition at IFT19 in New Orleans on June 2-5, 2019 where they competed to win the $25,000 competition grand prize. En Solución was proud to be selected as the winner of the 2019 competition and to hold the title of Food Disruptor of the Year.

WINNER: 2019 FOOD+CITY CHALLENGE FIRST PRIZE

The Food+City Startup Challenge is an innovation program for those who are transforming food systems around the globe. Part mentorship program and part startup competition, entrepreneurs participate for a chance to win valuable prize packages, access to industry mentors and experts, significant exposure to investor networks at the Food+City Startup Showcase during South by Southwest (SXSW) in Austin, Texas, and much more. En Solución was excited to be selected as the grand prize winner at the Food+City Startup Showcase on March 11, 2019.

AUSTIN TECHNOLOGY INCUBATOR PRE-INCUBATION PORTFOLIO MEMBER

The Austin Technology Incubator is the startup incubator of the University of Texas at Austin. A program of the University’s IC² Institute, ATI has a 28-year track record of helping founding teams achieve success. ATI works with companies commercializing technologies that have significant direct or indirect positive impacts in the food sector: from innovations in plant genetics to improve yield and advanced agricultural production systems to reduce resource consumption, to improving distribution and logistics to reduce waste as food travels from farm to customer. En Solución became a proud member of the ATI pre-incubation portfolio in 2019.

TEXAS VENTURE LAB 2019 COHORT

The JBTVL Accelerator provides an opportunity for startups to take their ventures to the next level with the unique benefit of leveraging UT Austin resources and talent. The JBTVL Accelerator matches early-stage Austin-area startups with cross-functional student teams from across UT’s graduate schools to help solve business problems. At the conclusion of each semester, JBTVL hosts an Expo to showcase the startups. En Solución will participate in the Spring 2019 Cohort.
